Arrived at Melbourne on the 12th of October 1933. Plenty of people and journalists at the dock to greet us.
The saboteur was handed over to the Melbourne police and the expedition gave interviews and depositions.
Most of the time was spent replacing lost food and equipment. Luckily, those expedition members tasked with getting the replacements got the job done well, despite some problematic arrangements by Starkweather.
The stay in Melbourne finished with a party with the Major, and an early morning departure.
